A Little About Me
Hi! I’m Arnold Bustamante. A New York City based product designer with over 4 years of experience. I specialize in B2C company growth.
In my work, I focus on bridging the gap between business goals and user needs. By leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data, I align cross-functional teams and create scalable, user-centered designs that drive measurable business outcomes.
My path to product design was far from conventional.
I didn’t go to college for research and I wasn’t a graphic designer. I actually spent most of my life pursuing acting (which means I spent most of my young adult life working retail, waitering, and bartending).
But with that being said, I always had a passion for understanding other people’s goals, challenges, and actions. So when I decided to put acting behind me, product design felt like a good fit.
When making the transition I took a bootcamp, while also teaching myself the fundamentals of graphic design, coding, and how to use different design tools. Using that foundation, I was able to work at various B2C e-commerce companies. Bombas and Fracture to name a few!

Filmmaking
I grew up wanting to be an actor. While my passion isn’t as strong as it used to be, I still love telling a good story. Currently, I’ve been studying screenwriting with the aspiration of shooting my own film one day. I’m also planning to study photography and videography.
Martial Arts
Getting punched and mauled is far from what most people would call a fun hobby, but over the last few years I’ve been obsessed. Not with the mauling part but with the craft. I’ve spent the last couple years boxing and taking Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and I love it. The fast paced problem solving, and all the little intricacies fascinate me.
New York Football Giants
I’m a big New York Giants fan. The first football game I ever watched was the 2008 Super bowl and since then I never stopped. There were some tough times but I stayed loyal. This year is going to be a good one... Yes, I say that every year, but this time I think I’m right.
